Marked "Made in France" OUTSTANDING Art Deco Celluloid with clear faceted rhinestones hand set throughout, with hand-applied gold leaf borders both the center stone and edge of the pendant from the 1920's. It has an irregular hexagon shape, and the base is constructed of a black Crystalate or Galalithe Celluloid with a hinged top. It also features an octagonal faceted blue glass or crystal stone bezelled in the center. This is a high-end jewelry pendant and a one-of-a-kind - a collectible for sure! It came with a satin ribbon but can be changed of course but I like the way it is. You have no idea how beautiful this looks on the neck. Pictures don't do justice! it's weight is 28.5 g. It is not heavy at all. A PIECE OF ART!
