This is a libbeh chocker from Yemen featuring a hand sewn long handmade chains dangling bell like pendants on a cloth. The edges are triangular shaped from which you can tie the necklace to the back. The upper part is made of an upper tier of mixed metal elements and a red glass cabochon in the middle. This is one of my most beautiful treasures. A Romy's fav!
Measurements: 20.5 x 14 cm
In great vintage condition. All imperfections are part of the charm of this handmade treasure. It is the beauty of Bedouin jewelry and the asymmetry adds to the down to earth quality and authenticity of the masterpiece.
